James Farrar

James' 25 year career to date has covered the non profit, aviation, banking and software sector working in the United States, Germany and the UK. More recently he served as Vice President at SAP, the world's largest enterprise software company. At SAP James helped bring leading solutions to market to enable the world's largest companies to operate more responsibly with a lower social and environmental impact. He also led the company's global University Alliances programme helping the world's leading universities use SAP software in the classroom & develop curriculum so students have access to the very latest innovation in enterprise technology management.

Prior to SAP, James was COO at Global Witness, a leading NGO in the field of human rights, governance and transparency. He is also a founder of Networked Rights, an emerging NGO specializing in the field of human rights, technology and business networks.

James & Matt have been First Lego League coaches with Grayshott School for the past three years with team's winning regional awards each year and going to the national finals in 2015.

James has a BSc in Envrionmental Economics from Rutgers University, New Jersyey, USA and an MBA from Lancaster University. In 2009 he was named to the Ethisphere Top 100 in Business Ethics list.

James is married to Jenn and together they are parents of Dylan (10) and Isabel (7).
